linearbounds
Parameter linearbounds is an AMR parameter; that is, it only has an effect
if allowedl > 0. It contols
the type of interpolation used for the child boundary data:
- linearbounds = 1 [default] use cubic interpolation for child boundary data
- linearbounds = 0 use linear interpolation for child boundary data
Notes
- If using linearbounds = 0 (linear interpolation for the child boundary), the driver
will preseve higher order methods by either
expanding the region of the parent that is sent to the child or
by shrinking the region on the child in which it interpolates. In the latter case,
note that this doesn't cause any trouble since the parent must overlap
in that region anyway.
